The Quantum Doctors, Dr. Paul Drouin and Dr. Amit Goswami, discuss basic questions such as the nature of life, a favorite topic of philosophers, poets, and scientists for centuries. They begin by talking about how if we look at the nature of life from the point of view of a materialistic model, the only way to describe it is to list the characteristics of life. The quantum approach is required in order to introduce the ideas of cognition and the observer.
